Today we are going to learn " How to design a Gear using Onshape feature Scripts ".
Steps :
1. As i taught you in previous post . Tap on the add tools and search gear or spur gear. And add the tool to the tool bar.
2. Now open the tool by just tapping on it, there you can see the pop up window of many specifications. Like as shown in the video.
3. Give the every value of the gear which gives you the gear model in required specifications.( You need to know what those terms are about gear )
4. You can make helical gear by tapping on helical option with direction also.
5. Even you can made double helical gear also with directions.
6. With camper, key hole, gear hole also.
7. The important point is, center point is need to shift the gear position ( with option origin ).
After giving all the values, tap on tick mark you will get the required gear. You can even edit it later also.
